Based in Akron, OH, Cain Transportation LLC has been contracting 40′ straight trucks with FedEx Custom Critical since 2007. Recently, Cain Transportation has also been contracted with Panther Logistics, Landstar, and Try Hours. Cain Transportation originally started with running a few dry vans and since then has moved into 40′ refrigerated straight trucks. These trucks are driven by teams. Typically our teams are same household couples that transport goods across the United States and Canada. All of the trucks are equipped with large sleepers, microwaves, refrigerator, full sink, and plenty of storage for two people. Our current fleet consists of 30 trucks total, 26 with refrigeration units and 4 dry boxes.
This past year Cain Transportation received the Elite Fleet Award from FedEx Custom Critical. This award is awarded to fleets that have 91% on-time pickup, 96% on-time delivery, 70% or greater time in service, no preventable accidents, and a minimum of 125 runs completed!
